The Low Pressure Area east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar developed into Tropical Depression (TD) "EMONG". At 10:00 AM, the center was estimated at 700 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar or 790 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness up to 55 km/h, and central pressure of 1004 hPa moving Northwestward at 25 km/h.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 was raised in Batanes and the northeastern portion of Cagayan (Santa Ana and Gonzaga) including Babuyan Islands.
At 5:00 PM, TD “EMONG” slightly intensified while moving north-northwestward over the Philippine Sea east of southern Luzon. Luan, Eastern Samar. The center was estimated at 780 km East of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness up to 70 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa moving North Northwestward at 25 km/h.
At 11:00PM. TD “EMONG” accelerated northwestward over the Philippine Sea. The center was estimated at 620 km Northeast of Catarman, Northern Samar or 785 km East of Casiguran, Aurora moving Northwestward at 35 km/h. Strong winds or higher extend outwards up to 200 km from the center.

TD “EMONG” continues to accelerate towards extreme Northern Luzon. At 4:00 AM, The center was estimated at 530 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora or 560 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan moving West northwestward at 40 km/h.
At 7:00 AM, TD "EMONG" maintained its strength as it continued to move closer towards extreme northern luzon. The center was estimated at 385 km East Northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan or 385 km East of Aparri, Cagayan moving West northwestward at 40 km/h.
At 10:00 AM, "EMONG" maintained its strength as it continued to move closer towards Batanes-Babuyan Islands Area. The center was estimated based on all available data at 315 km East of Aparri, Cagayan.
At 1:00 PM, TD "EMONG" decelerates as it continued to move closer towards Batanes-Babuyan Islands Area. The center of Tropical Depression “EMONG” was estimated based on all available data at 270 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan or 275 km East of Calayan, Cagayan moving Northwestward at 20 km/h.
At 4:00 PM, TD "EMONG" accelerated as it continued to approach Batanes-Babuyan Islands Area. The center of Tropical Depression “EMONG” was estimated based on all available data at 215 km East Northeast of Calayan, Cagayan or 160 km East Southeast of Basco, Batanes(19.9°N, 123.4°E) moving Northwestward at 45 km/h. TCWS No. 1 still prevails in Batanes and the northeastern portion of Cagayan (Santa Ana and Gonzaga) including Babuyan Islands.
At 7:00 PM, TD "EMONG" has passed very close to Bayan and Sabtang Islands. The center was estimated based on all available data at 90 km West of Basco, Batanes moving west northwestward at 50 km/h.
TCWS No. 1 still prevailed over Batanes and the northeastern portion of Cagayan (Santa Ana, Gonzaga) including Babuyan Islands
At 10:00 PM, it continued to move away from Batanes. The center was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Itbayat, Batanes moving west northwestward at 40 km/h.
TCWS No. 1 prevailed over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

At 1:00 AM, "EMONG" turned north northwestward and was near the coast of Southern Taiwan. The center of Tropical Depression “EMONG” was estimated based on all available data at 140 km Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes moving North northwestward at 30 km/h.
TCWS No. 1 prevailed over Batanes.
At 4:00 AM, TD "EMONG" continues to slow down and is currently over the sea off the southern tip of Taiwan. The center of Tropical Depression “EMONG” was estimated based on all available data at 165 km Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes moving Northwestward at 25 km/h.
TCWS No. 1 still prevailed over Batanes.
At 10:00 AM, TD "EMONG" slightly weakened and left the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
